Legal Assistant / Intake Coordinator
Mr. Higuita joined the Staton Silber, P.S., team in 2022, beginning as Receptionist before being promoted to Legal Assistant and Intake Coordinator. He is a passionate and dedicated professional who takes great pride in helping the firm’s clients with critical aspects of their claims. This includes direct communication with the Department of Labor and Industries, scheduling medical appointments and procedures, and managing all matters related to independent medical examinations. He also oversees the intake department, where he enjoys introducing callers to the firm and connecting them with Staton Silber’s team of attorneys.
Mr. Higuita thrives in a fast-paced legal environment where his organizational skills and attention to detail shine. His commitment to helping clients navigate the legal system is evident in his proactive approach to communication and problem-solving. Personal Background
Mr. Higuita emigrated to the United States in 2020, and has made Washington State his home since 2021.
In his free time, Jorge enjoys spending quality moments with his wife, watching classic movies, socializing with friends, playing volleyball, and wrangling his two dogs, Nina and Dick.
Jorge is also a Lord of the Rings trivia machine.
